Today Partner-who-loves-tea and I leave Lewis for Harris and the Isle of Skye. My weeks of enjoying GB;s hospitality will be at an end. I wrote the following just a few short nights ago. I can’t believe those four whole days have vanished so quickly. Nor that the five weeks of bveing on the Island have gone, just like that (he wrote, snapping his fingers to demonstrate what he meant).…
Partner-who-loves-tea has arrived on the Island - Whoopee or Hieperderpiep hoera! as the Dutch would say so poetically. She sailed over from Ullapool on the evening ferry on Tuesday.
GB drove me down to the ferry terminal to meet her. We headed over The Briaghe towards Stornoway and the setting sun.
I had time for a quick wander around the harbour, looking at some of the boats.
The Lewis Diver came in.
And so did Delta – there must have been something interesting going on there!
A couple of fire engines arrived at the terminal – I wonder why?
The ferry arrived.

The bow doors of the ferry begin to open… it’s time to walk around the corner to meet Jo’s car as she drives it off the ferry into the car park.
Google Latitude on Jo’s phone shows us together again after six weeks of communicating via texts and e-mails…
