Sounds interesting - looks interesting...

Not the most elegant of poses...

It's wet down here...

  3. My daughter had a cat once that would only drink water direct from the tap. Alfie'd weave in and out of Arlene's legs until Arlene took the hint and turned on the tap, and then jump up and have a drink. Water in a bowl didn't interest him at all!

  4. Our old black cat (he died decades ago but was VERY much part of the family) loved drinking from the tap. He also liked having a shower bath with warm water, as long as you remembered not to get his ears wet.

  6. My son's cat Max insists on water from the tub tap. Even though youngest son bought a gadget which has water flowing into the bowl all the time, Max still prefers the tub. Wonder why some cats do that.
Did you tell us kitty's name? I remember someone having a kitten called Ivy. Is it yours?
    ~cheers~

  7. Makes me think of the time one of our cats (when we had cats) fell into the bath. He used to like walking round the edge of it and one day he decided to investigate a stray drop from the tap. Oh dear! It was funny, though.

  9. Clearly a distant relative of my own cat, Dante, whom I found and adopted when I lived in Florida. Dante prefers his water in a dish, but Main Lady's cat Pumpkin enjoys water right out of the tap and will spend a good deal of time playing with the faucet and getting soaked in the process.

Where would we be without our pets?

    1. Hello Oliver Birdsong - I think this is your first comment on my blog so 'Welcome'! And I agree 'Where would we be without our pets?' Our two old cats (aged 15) died last year and it's felt strange around the house ever since. The arrival of Ivy has really made the house alive again.
